A New Jersey gay rights organization, along with seven same-sex couples and their children have announced they will file a suit in state Superior Court today demanding marriage equality for the gay citizens of the Garden State. They insist that their partnerships should be recognized as marriages, not civil unions, and be afforded every right a heterosexual couple has.
